Graveyard Dig
A moonlit Halloween twist on Skunk Garden, with the same deduction at its heart. Teams dig a wrought-iron graveyard plot for trick-or-treat candy, reading the number carved on every opened grave to work out which mounds hide a zombie, a ghost or Frankenstein. Mark the suspicious ones with a candle. Dig well and the candy cascades into your pail, all the way up to an overflowing jack-o’-lantern; dig badly and the graveyard wakes up. A witch overhead can be paid to check one grave for you — she is right more often than she is wrong.
